Nuclear Organization in Arabidopsis thaliana : Looking at chromatin dynamics and gene repositioning
I am interested in how plants are able to integrate environmental factors such as light to create changes in development in growth in response to these external cues. One aspect of regulation which has been emerging in the field is to directly study the 3D orientation and composition of the chromatin within the nucleus. The spatial and temporal organization of our genes, chromatin and chromosomes are also influences by external cues. I am interested in whether there light perception affects the chromatin dynamics and repositioning of light signaling genes. |
